No. 10 Art, Design & Craft Open House, Bath

Last weekend I went to a local art, design and craft open house event in my local neighbourhood. It's on twice per year and I can highly recommend it if you are into artisan and craft things. Go lock at their website.

Hurray! Today the new website for the Jazz Cafe in Bath has gone live. And all the photos on the website were taken by me. You can see more in this blog post.

Newborn portraits of two week old baby boy Z. in Bath Somerset

Here are some of the edits from last week's newborn portrait shoot here in Bath. Little cute boy Z. was only two weeks old. He was very mellow and sweet but didn't like laying on his tummy at all. Also he woke the minute I got there and happily fell asleep again just as I left. Typical. But: I like a challenge of a newborn that doesn't want to sleep as he is just discovering life. :)

Tour of Flanders 2010 Retrospective

Today is that has been eagerly anticipated by many cycling fans: it's the Tour of Flanders in Belgium. This is a one day classic race and three years ago we went to Belgium to see this race live. See, I am married to one of these cycling enthusiasts aka bike nerds. I have to admit though we had a cracking time and I loved taking shots of the event!

Pre-race preparations.

The young riders and women started first.

Bath Life Wedding Guide Issue 18 March 2013 - wedding photographer

Bath Life Magazine issued their annual wedding guide. And I am proud to say that not only did they published an interview with me but also one of my images also made the cover! It was taken at a wedding just outside Nottingham last September. I posed the couple in a corn field right outside the venue.

You can click on the below interview to see it large. It is about what makes a great wedding photo, how to capture moments, how to overcome camera shyness and most importantly what to consider when choosing a wedding photographer.

Contact me on 07984 029 639 for an informal chat should you be interested in hiring me as your wedding photographer. I'm more than happy to meet and show you my portfolio before you make your decision and answer your questions.
